Exam Time - So Sad

Well, it's studytime for most of our students. A tough time of year, but hopefully you will all do well. Make sure to study and work hard cause you have a great gift in being able to go to school and be educated. Some have to fight hard for that gift. And you'll be back to goofing off and enjoying life in no time. Hey, Spring Break is only 2 months away!

Because of exam period we'll be having some more relaxed outings for the next while, and a break week during exams.

Here's the details:


Tuesday, January 23 - Bowl Game or a movie (depending on how many show up)

Friday, January 26 - LPC Skate Night | Pearkes Arena starting at 5:45 PM

Tuesday, January 30 - We'll take a break this week

Tuesday, February 6 - Back at 'er with the 'Amazing Race'

Make sure you come on out to all these great events.

LPC Skate Night | January 26

This week we have the opportunity to join with all of LPC in a skate around Pearkes Arena. Make sure you don't miss it cause it's tonnes of fun. Bring along your money, skates, and warm clothes and we'll see you at 5:45 PM. Everyone's invited!

Welcome to 2007!

The New Year begins for HSM on Tuesday, January 9th. We'll be meeting for fun and games at 7:00 PM in the LPC Youth Room. We'll also be planning some of the future evenings so if you want to vote then come on out.

December 12 | Movie-Time

This week we'll be watching a movie. Which one, you never know.

Show up early to vote on which movie we watch (but no earlier than 6:45 PM). You'll also want the best seat. We'll be starting the movie at 7:02 sharp! Tell your parents not to pick you up till 9:30 cause the movie may run late.

Tuesday Night Group Still Filming

Movie-making is still continuing on. We started some editing but lots more shooting to do as well. Everyone seems to be enjoying the time though.

Come on out next Tuesday and join us. Even if you're not acting or filming, you can still help out. Or you can just enjoy some games and fun in the LPC Youth Room.

Club 150 | December 1, 2006

On Friday, December 1st, we'll be having our second Club 150 of the new school year. This is a worship service for all LPC Youth and you guys are all invited.

This time we'll be having a member from the CFHI Team in Belo, Ethiopia sharing with us. His name is Rob Bustin (the only white guy in the picture to the left - this picture is the whole CFHI Belo Team, click on it for a larger image) and he has been working in Ethiopia for a couple years now. He will be sharing stories, pictures, and maybe even some video with us. Make sure you come out to learn more about Belo (the community we support in Africa) and to get to know the people of that region more.
